Alabama Racquetball has been developing junior racquetball players for years.
One example of this is from the January 14, 2011 edition of the AL.com newspaper website.

Free racquetball lessons at downtown Y

on January 14, 2011 at 2:30 PMMOBILE, Ala. — National racquetball champion Jason Utesch is offering free racquetball classes for youths 8-18 at the Moorer YMCA, 101 N. Water St., each Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon.
According to Utesch, no equipment is needed for beginners, and players don’t have to be Y members. Interested players and their parents may call the Y at 251-438-1163 to sign up.
A minimum of four participants must be pre-registered for each class and the deadline for confirmation of attendance is Thursday of each week.
Utesch, a 41-year-old native of San Diego, is the 2007 gold medal winner in both the Men’s A and Men’s 35-plus divisions and has played racquetball since age 13.
“I want to use my skills as a player to promote junior racquetball in our area,” he said. “Birmingham has a pretty good base of young racquetball players and we’d like that type of participation here in Mobile.
“I want parents to know this isn’t just a recreational sport. Players can work towards state championships, junior national championships and receive corporate sponsorship, and players can also earn college scholarships. There are funds available for junior players, plus, it’s held indoors and it’s a safe sport.”
