Athletic Club of Alabama holding racquetball tourney to benefit Wounded Warrior Project

on April 13, 2012 at 1:00 PMHUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The Athletic Club of Alabama, formerly the Huntsville Athletic Club (HAC), is holding a racquetball tournament April 20-22 to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
The tournament is called the Wounded Warrior Project Racquetball Challenge and will be held at the club’s south location, 2100 Members Drive. The tournament is sanctioned by the U.S. Racquetball Association and all proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, according to Carrie Wilson, marketing director for ACA.
The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to help the spouses and children of the killed and seriously injured military. For more information go to www.woundedwarriorfamilyfoundation.com.
Those interested in the tournament can register at http://www.r2sports.com/r2-sports-current-events.asp?sportID=1. The deadline for entry is Tuesday. It’s $40 for the first event, $25 for the second and $20 for the third. Juniors pay $20 per event.
