The 2026 Alabama State Racquetball Championships, is scheduled for the 24th and 25th of January 2026 at the University of Alabama Birmingham in Birmingham, AL.
This event will be held at the University of Alabama Birmingham Recreation Center, located at 1501 University Blvd., Birmingham, AL 35233.

You must be an Alabama state resident to enter a singles event.
At least one doubles partner must be an Alabama state resident. Any Out of State players playing doubles with an in-state player will have to contact me via phone or send me an email so I can enter them manually.
The event will be a 2-day sanctioned USAR racquetball tournament with players from throughout the state. Each participant will receive a souvenir shirt. Limited meals and refreshments during the tournament will be provided.
This is an USRA sanctioned and a National Qualifier event. All USRA rules apply. Two games to 15 points, Tie breaker to 11 points. Players must be USRA members. A USRA membership can be purchased before or at the tournament, see below.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to move any player or players to another division and if necessary to combine divisions.
Winners must referee. Failure to referee will result in a forfeit.
You must bring your own towels. Towels are not provided at UAB.
Donors or donations to help cover the meals Sat and Sun, will help cover the increased costs of the UAB facility rental and would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in donating contact me directly.
USAR Membership – please remember to renew your membership prior to the state championships or as it expires this will expedite check-ins, and consider sponsoring a junior or collegiate player or someone who could use a little extra support to keep playing in the coming year!!!
Adult Membership – $65
This 1-Year Membership is for adults over 21, It includes a WOR membership.
Adult Auto Renew 1-Year Membership – $60
This 1-Year Auto Renewal Membership is for adults 18 and older. It includes a WOR membership.
College Player Membership – $30
This 1-Year Membership is for college students 21 and under.
Lifetime Membership – $1,250
This Membership is for all players. It lasts the players lifetime and is non-transferable.
Junior Player Membership – $30
This 1-Year Membership is for juniors 18 and under.
Limited Event Membership – $25
This 1 Event Only Membership is for any player and is only good for 1 event. (Not available for national qualifiers and national events.)
