FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. | The University of Alabama men’s and women’s racquetball team won the USA Racquetball National Intercollegiate Championship last Saturday at the Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club.
Alabama won the tournament with a total score of 2,315. Oregon State finished second with 2,093.More than 40 teams participated in the tournament.
The Crimson Tide advanced to eight finals and won three gold medals and five silver medals.
The men’s team members were Agustin Tristan, Mike Lawrence, Shane Karmelin, Brady Hernandez, Chris Crockett and Brian Booth The women’s team members were Adrienne Fisher and Da’monique Davis.
