EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. | Adrienne Fisher won three gold medals as the University of Alabama racquetball team had a strong showing at the recent 2004 U.S. Junior Olympic Racquetball Championships.
Fisher won in singles, doubles and mixed doubles in the under-18 event, held June 23-27.Shane Karmelin and Brady Hernandez won a silver medal in doubles, and Karmelin paired with Da’monique Davis for a silver medal in mixed doubles.
Christopher Crockett also competed.
Kelley Fisher, who will attend Alabama in the fall, won the bronze medal in 18-and-under singles.
In the boys’ 16-and-under division, Allen Crockett of Birmingham placed first in doubles and third in singles.
The top two singles players and first-place doubles team were named to the U.S. Junior Racquetball Team.
In the 8-and-under division, Robert Hemphill of Fosters won bronze medals in two divisions and placed third overall.
